Ribbon
Ribbons come in a wide range of colours and patterns, widths and textures, and are incredibly versatile and useful for many different types of crafts. Ribbons have long been used as hair decorations and to trim clothing and hats, but they can also be used to great effect on soft furnishings such as cushions, and on craft items, and as bows to decorate gift boxes and pretty containers. Satin or organza ribbon combined with pretty beads can make a simple yet effective choker or bracelet. Ribbons can also be woven or plaited to make attractive multi-coloured place-mats and curtain tie-backs. Ribbons are the perfect starting item for any Crafty Stash.
